Seconds, bowed and slight cracks (see second photo for actual sheet)

6mm thick laser-grade sheet of spruce pine wood for a variety of crafts, hobbies and design projects.

Commonly known as boxmaker's wood, these thin sheets of solid timber, are re-sawn from thicker sheets that have already been fully dried so as to avoid any warping as the wood dries. They are then accurately sanded down to the thickness needed.

These thin wood sheets are perfect for laser cutting and typical uses include box making, jewellery making, furniture restoration, model making, marquetry, luthiery, intarsia and many more design, woodworking and craft hobbies. Thin wood boards can be used for steam bending and curved laminations.

As the wood is unfinished it is ready for any finish you wish to apply, such as varnish, stain or paint. It is supplied ready sanded with a perfect smooth surface.

All sizes are nominal/ approx. To purchase sheet sizes not listed or sold out products please send us an email to hello@sketchlasercutting.com, or contact us via the link below to place your order.

As wood is a natural material the grain and colour will vary from sheet to sheet. As the wood is planed very thin please bear in mind that although every effort is made for the sheets to remain as flat as possible, changing temperatures and humidity levels can cause slight warping/ bends in the wood. These features are normal and due to it being a natural material, it is not a fault with the product.
